and Firing ain’t a glamorous thing. Despite Donald Trump’s trademarked
catchphrase, it doesn’t happen on a sound stage with pretty lighting and a cut
to commercial. Almost everybody has a horror story- no I don’t care how many
manhole covers there are in NYC and yes, someone once actually told me in an
interview “hmmm, people usually put something interesting under their
interests…” And if you think the hiring process is impractical, illogical, and
just plain stupid, wait ‘til you see how badly managers screw up the firing
process.
